FAVORITE RESIDENCES OF EMPRESS MARIA FEDOROVNA IN RUSSIA AND DENMARK.
The creators of this book are well-known St. Petersburg ethnographers, authors of a number of books and articles on the history of St. Petersburg, its outskirts, and the imperial House of Romanov. Excellent storytellers, who brought their own impressions of their trips to Denmark into the narrative, they offered the reader an essentially lively and fascinating excursion, the route of which is much wider than the halls of these wonderful palaces, which have now become architectural and historical monuments. Stories about buildings and architects, interiors and household items are freely woven into the general outline of the book – a short history of the life of Maria Feodorovna.
